Alan Pardew Should Learn A Few Things From Gary Mills and Gateshead

I had the good fortune on Saturday evening of watching Gateshead`s win against Cambridge, a game where they needed a point to ensure they made the play-offs.

They did it in style and in front of a great crowd (2,916) at the stadium with some good defending and some ttacking football.

At half-time I had the pleasure of speaking to the manager and offered Shola and Obertan to him for free next season, oh how we laughed before he told me to go away and stop being stupid.

I told him that Shola could be an excellent bench warmer and that Obertan had bags of pace for running to the corner shop for milk and bread. Millsy then said that he was happy I wasn`t the Joe Kinnear of Gateshead otherwise they would be in the same sort of bother as the toon and he would be out of work.

Turning to NUFC, why is it that Pardew cannot see the same as Mills about his own players and start playing a couple of the kids to blood them for next season?

I`ll tell you why, he`s scared to death about losing his job because MA will not take much more of it.

He may spend in the summer but what will be going through his mind on a daily basis is;

Can Pardew use it properly’ (NO).

‘Is Pardew the man to manage these new players’ (NO) and

‘Is there anyway I can get the sheep back into the fold’ (YES)

Those three questions should see the demise of Pardew and a new manager brought in, If it doesn`t we will know exactly where we stand with the current regime
