Shock Injury Latest – Newcastle’s Two Best Players Miss Fulham

The shock injury latest just released by the club is that arguably Newcastle United’s two best players, both miss Fulham on Saturday.

It turns out Loic Remy has a calf injury, which could be a result of a bad tackle he took on his brief appearance for France against Holland.

While Mathieu Debuchy has a groin injury and whether that is also attributed to that game in Paris against the Netherlands is unknown.

It gets worse because Newcastle United have confirmed that it isn’t just the visit to Craven Cottage that both will miss, the club stating that it will be a minimum of three matches that both will be unavailable for.

They will miss the home matches against Crystal Palace and Everton, so despite the return of Fabricio Coloccini the chances of a late run to potentially improve the league position looks a longshot now.
