It’s been revealed today that Nile Ranger was actually arrested yet again, actually while he was standing trial for rape at Newcastle Crown Court.

It turns out that Ranger had originally been arrested for a drink driving charge on February 2nd this year by Gwent police, and then missed his court appearance to answer that charge on February 19th at Cwmbran Magistrates Court.

Having been cleared on the rape charge, Northumbria Police have now confirmed Ranger was arrested on Saturday 8th March after a warrant was issued for his non-appearance on the drink driving charge.

Twenty two year old Ranger was due in court today in Wales and this is what a Gwent spokesman had to say about the details of his drink driving charge;

“At 7.15am on February 2nd we were called to Magor services on junction 23A of the M4 motorway.

“A 22 year old man from London was arrested and subsequently charged with being in charge of a motor vehicle – his alcohol level above the legal limit.”
