Pardew On Palace ‘They Were Very Good At Sunderland’

As per usual, Alan Pardew has been doing his usual bigging up of Newcastle United’s next opposition.

The Newcastle manager stating that last weekend Palace ‘were very good at Sunderland’.

Speaking to mackems I know, they said Palace were absolutely abysmal, and only due to Sunderland being just as clueless did they fail to beat them;

“I don’t think anybody could see there was a great opportunity for Tony (Pulis) going in  there, there is only Tony’s confidence and ability that has pulled that team to within a fighting chance, and now they have got a fighting chance, of staying up – and they will be showing that on the pitch.

“They were very good at Sunderland, very resilient.

“Tony’s teams are always very assured in terms of their jobs.”

Yes we know there are no easy matches (blah blah blah) in the Premier League but it all gets a bit tedious the manager putting in the excuses before every match.

We should be going out and trying to batter the likes of Palace and if we fail then fair enough but please do not try and tell us that matches like these are as difficult as against the decent teams.
