Newcastle United Not Happy With Striker’s Pitch Time
It has been revealed that Newcastle United aren’t happy with the playing time one of their on loan strikers is getting, with Haris Vuckic stating that neither he or United are happy with the situation.
Vuckic is at Rotherham to get playing time but has only started in seven league games so far.
With the forward turning twenty two this summer it is hardly an ideal scenario for a player who has dropped down two divisions to get extra experience and who is spending most of his time sitting on the bench.
“It’s been frustrating because I’ve not had much starting time.
“I have not really been happy with my playing time and Newcastle haven’t been happy either as I came here to play, though I understand why I haven’t.
“If the team’s winning it is hard to get in the side, that’s what happened, we’ve been unbeaten and it’s difficult to be chosen.
“We’ve four really good strikers who’ve to fight to get in the team.”
One consolation for the player is that he is contracted at Newcastle until summer 2016 so still has time on his side, in terms of security anyway.
