In the latest twist to the ongoing claimed interest by United in Newcastle transfer target Remy Cabella, it has now emerged that the player has been advised to go anywhere but Newcastle.

Montpellier owner Louis Nicollin loves the sound of his own voice and he has had plenty to say as to where Cabella shouldn’t go.

Nicollin has pointed to the Mapou situation and declared; “For my dear Yanga-Mbiwa, Newcastle was not Eldorado!”

The Montpellier owner;

“Is Newcastle a good destination? Don’t make me laugh.

In England you have to go to Chelsea, Arsenal or the two Manchester teams.

“If Newcastle offer twenty million Euros and Arsenal five million, I don’t think I would sell him. I’m capable of doing this; I wouldn’t prevent him but I don’t think he is made for that club.

“Would I advise him against joining Newcastle United? Definitely, as for Arsenal – why not.

“For my dear Yanga-Mbiwa, Newcastle was not Eldorado.”
