Joey Barton Deletes Twitter Message After Winding Up Sunderland Fans Again
Sunday saw Joey Barton deletes Twitter message after the ex-Newcastle midfielder took the opportunity to wind up Sunderland fans yet again.
It is a two way street and numerous mackems have a go at Barton via social media, so they should take the medicine when he fires back.
As we have previously reported, Barton put out the following after Sunderland supporters wound him up after the last derby fiasco
The Toon must have lost? My timeline is filled with 5under1and fans getting excited. Well done. Maybe you’ll all get baths now? #unwashed
— Joseph Barton (@Joey7Barton) February 1, 2014
The latest from Barton followed the final whistle in the League Cup final yesterday, with the cheeky Scouser‘ tweeting the following, again substituting numerals for letters…;
“Atleti v Real now. Beautiful. Sorry about City v Sund3r1and prediction. Can’t always b right…”
I saw this yesterday but interestingly, when I went to look for it on Barton’s Twitter timeline it had disappeared, with the QPR player obviously deciding the mackems had had enough punishment.
Barton’s reference to his prediction relates to an earlier Tweet he’d put out which he HASN’T deleted and went out as follows;
Lots of people wanting an upset. Cannot see City making that mistake in two cup finals in a row. 3-1 City

Happily Joey’s tipping skills were on the ball yesterday and his ex-club City saved all Newcastle fans, and Mr.Barton himself, a lot of grief in the coming months with talk of trophies and Europe from the Sunderland fans.
