Sick Of Alan Pardew’s ‘Dog Ate My Homework’ Excuses

Am I missing the point?

Alan Pardew….Well to be honest I feel sorry for the bloke but at the same time he frustrates the life out of me.

The Tottenham defeat angered me so much that I had to write…

I honestly think Pardew is the only manager on this planet that would work under Ashley and he knows he will never get a chance to manage a club like Newcastle United again.

So for all those prats saying he should resign, think again. Would you quit a club with the history, pedigree and potential of Newcastle united? That’s without mentioning the passionate heartbroken fanbase.

Unfortunately, I have recently starting losing or lost, patience with the bloke.

He insults our intelligence by saying “Joe Kinnear worked hard and it’s a shame to see him leave” and I am also sick of the pathetic “The dog ate my homework” excuses when we lose.

I do understand people’s argument about winning at Old Trafford and at White Hart Lane, but is beating Man united really a massive win when you look at how poor they are, who hasn’t had a result at Old Trafford this season?

The win away to Spurs was brilliant, Williamson and Mbiwa were outstanding and Krul was like Superman on Amphetamines. What a result, I hate Spurs with a passion but was that result more luck than a great performance? Spurs had 65% possession and 31 shots to our 6! A great win but we were lucky and we know it. That leaves one great performance, Chelsea at home, is that really acceptable for our club? It was a brilliant performance as we outplayed and outbattled them and I love that.

However, I can accept defeat but what I cannot accept is rolling over and letting other teams laugh in our faces and laugh at us. I’m not going to write about the teams that have done that to us recently…

The main reason i have started writing this is because recently Pardew has shocked me. Pardew recently came out and said how good Santon is in the holding roll alongside Anita in the middle of the park but the next game (Spurs at home) he plays him left back. So how good is Santon in the middle of the park? We have Dummett, Haidara and Mbiwa, who are in my opinion better left backs than Santon yet he did not start any of these (Haidara was unavailable).

We had a makeshift midfield against a strong and very well organised new look Tottenham 5 man midfield but Pardew went with an untried weak looking midfield 4. Anita is a good ball player and I really like him but without Tiote and Cabaye he is useless. Sissoko has played out wide right most of the season and at this level of football if you’re not comfortable in a position you get found out. What position is Sissoko?

Gouffran works hard and I like his attitude but when I think of wide men I think Ginola, Robert etc etc. Gouffran is too negative to be a winger as he never beats a player and passes backwards. Sammy was our best midfielder against Spurs but I don’t think he should be starting, although he has great potential.

Why is Sissoko captain?

In my opinion Sissoko has not been at the club long enough to deserve the armband, surely Krul, Williamson or STaylor should be leading the team through this mess, showing the new lads what it means to play for Newcastle united.

Why can’t Pardew get the best out of Hatem Ben Arfa?

Hatem has the potential to be one of the best players in the Premier league but he needs to be managed right. Yes he is giving the ball away a lot and taking too many touches but that is because he is coming on with 15 minutes to go and is trying too hard to impress.

Why can’t Pardew give him a free role anywhere behind Remy or Cisse? Pardew likes a grafter in the team but I think every team needs a ‘Top Trump’ like Hatem. Even teams like Swansea have their own little Ben Arfas, Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge rarely work hard to track back yet they start every week and are key to Swansea’s brilliant style and recent cup win.

If Swansea can have luxury players why can’t Newcastle United? (I am aware that Swansea have recently had their problems but somehow beat us 3-0…BLOODY EUROPA LEAGUE FOOTBALL…MUST BE TIRED)

Just another Newcastle United fan living in shi**y Essex
