Newcastle Star Made To Train With Kids

The unrest at St.James’ Park continues unabated, with reports today that now Sylvain Marveaux has been told to train with the kids at Newcastle United.

Marveaux was said to be one of the players who felt Alan Pardew’s fury after the four goal embarrassment against Tottenham, with claims that he and fellow sub Hatem Ben Arfa bore the brunt of the manager’s anger.

The Chronicle have broken this latest story claiming that the United player is training with the Newcastle United under 18s.

The winger/midfielder had been totally frozen out of Alan Pardew’s plans, until when injuries hit the manager’s wafer thin squad and Marveaux suddenly appeared in the first eighteen in January.

If claims of training with the kids are correct then matters must have reached an all time low.

However, I suppose on the positive side there will be plenty of fans who will say that players such as Sylvain Marveaux could learn plenty from the under 18s, the kids currently on a run of eight wins in a row and into the quarter finals of the FA Youth cup.
