Fans Who Cancelled Season Tickets Asked For Money By Newcastle United
I wrote my first thing to this website yesterday and now I am already writing my second one about the Mike Ashley shambles at Newcastle United.
My first thing that was kindly published on here on Thursday, was about a letter I’d received from Newcastle United.
In the article (click [intlink id=”39835″ type=”post”]HERE[/intlink] to read it), I explained that despite cancelling my season ticket three weeks ago, I then received a letter with details of my payments for next year – plus the letter had a very positive spin about how great everything is under Ashley – which further wound up myself and all my mates who had cancelled.
In this latest one (see below), the club are asking me (and all my other mates who have received the same one) for money, due to the shambles that is Newcastle United under Mike Ashley cocking up taking my last current season ticket payment in February.
Now the club are asking myself and all the other irate fans who have cancelled, to go to the effort of ringing up or calling into the ticket office to hand over my/our hard earned cash to Mike Ashley!
I have a feeling Ashley/Newcastle United are going to have to go to a ‘little’ effort to get this money from some of the totally disillusioned supporters that I know.
While at the end of the letter they are assuring me and others that my season ticket won’t be affected this season, I have little faith that there won’t be problems when I turn up on Sunday for the Villa match.
Thousands of season ticket holders refused entry would really be the icing on the cake for the incompetence of the club under Mike Ashley. Not that he remotely cares, as he’ll no doubt be smoking big fat cigars as he counts our money at the other end of the country.
PS I think there have been a few ‘System Errors’ at our club recently!
