FA Charge Newcastle United

The fallout continues from last week’s  match at Carrow Road, was the FA Charge Newcastle United.

United are already without Loic Remy following the unsuccessful appeal against his red card, despite Bradley Johnson seeing his appeal prove successful.

However, now both Norwich and Newcastle have been charged by the FA for failing to ensure that their players ‘conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour’.

This of course relates to what ensued from the double sending off which happened with 82 minutes on the clock.

The two clubs have until 6pm on Wednesday 5th February to respond to the charges.

Rumours that the FA are also charging Newcastle United with impersonating a football team on Saturday (boom boom) are yet to be confirmed.
