Newcastle Loan Player May Leave For Free

It looks as though a Dan Gosling transfer out of Newcastle could happen earlier than expected.

Having done well in his loan spell at Blackpool, even scoring a couple of goals, it is now reported that Paul Ince is now trying to arrange a permanent deal rather than waiting until the summer when Gosling becomes a free agent.

It is expected that any deal would be on the basis of Gosling leaving on a free, which would be the case in the summer anyway as there’d be no chance of Newcastle offering the player a new deal.

The signing of Gosling was always a risk for United as he arrived on the back of a long-term injury and even once fans saw him in action, there was nothing to suggest he deserved a first team spot, the bad injury at Everton clearly having a longer lasting impact that has stopped him recapturing his early form.
