Manchester United Jumble Sale Reported To Interest Newcastle

The rumour mill continues to turn and Newcastle have now been linked with a Manchester United January jumble sale with David Moyes reportedly desperate to offload som eof the dross that Fergie has left him with.

Amongst the players Moyes is said by various media such as The Mail to be happy to see the back of, either on loan or permanently, are Wilfried Zaha, Ashley Young and Nani.

Newcastle are amongst the clubs credited with interest, alongside the likes of Fulham, but unless United suddenly picked up a load of injuries then it is very hard to see how there would be even minimal interest.

For Mike Ashley to pay out for relatively expensive loan deals when Premier League survival is all but guaranteed already, would take some believing.

Easy to see though why David Moys would be very keen to move on some of the average players he has inherited as with the Glazers continuing to rip money out of Manchester United to meet debt payments, then getting the wage bill down would seem a likely pre-requisite if he is to be allowed to bring in much needed new players.

It was recently reported that Man Utd could be interested in Cabaye, Santon and Tiote.

Would you be interested in a swap of our three for their three? Didn’t think so.
