Having read the minutes of the latest NUFC/fans representative meeting, it is abundantly clear that NUFC have banned NUST sine die.

NUST seems to be the only organised body who actually have the ability to ask the right questions and dig deeper when the answers were unsatisfactory.

The public reasons given for the NUST ban are very trivial and if NUST did transgress then a gentle reminder from the club should have sufficed.

newcastle united trophy winsWhat, if anything, can NUST do as a body to fight this ban, is there any combined action with NJC  media group, as they are in the same position.

How long must we put up with this rule by fear initiated by Mike Ashley?

All we want is a statement of playing side intent – a friend of mine met Ashley at a business event when he first bought the club, Ashley spoke openly of eye opening, mouth watering marquee signings on the pitch and extending the ground at the Gallowgate end, what happened to this ambition, what changed?

The fact is results on the pitch are ok, the playing side while lacking depth is as strong as it has been in a long time, yet still we are unhappy, we are so close to being strong enough to challenge the Top 4, but still Ashley does nothing.

He could promote his vile SD empire in the Champions League on two fronts if he just showed a modicum of ambition, Rangers I am sure will be in the Champions League within 2 years, and as I mentioned before we are so close to challenging.

It is so frustrating that a club the size of ours does not compete, I turn 50 in two weeks and I am now convinced I will die before we win anything.
