Helping The Bookies Bring New Year Cheer
New year, new transfer window and a wide open title race and more Premier League betting opportunities.
First up, I think MAN CITY will start 2014 the way they ended 2013, flying.
Although they’ve not had the best away record this season, they have improved this of late, and Swansea are without Vorm & Michu and without a win in 5 having only won at home twice as the Europa league is clearly taking its toll. At 4/6 I’m with the Citizens.
Next up I’m with FULHAM at 6/4 at home to West Ham in what looks like a crucial 6 pointer down the bottom.
Fulham have added know how to their backroom staff of late with Alan Curbishley and the likeable Ray Wilkins and this should give them a bit more stability alongside Rene Muelensteen.
West Ham’s problems have been in front of goal with the budget blown on Andy Carroll. I think this may be a tight affair but one which the home side might just nick.
Finally in what is arguably the game of the day I think MAN UNITED will beat Spurs at home at 4/5.
In a World Cup year, Danny Welbeck is proving an able deputy to the injured RVP and has scored 4 in the last 5 games. The champions have been on a roll of late as they make a push for the top 4 and I think they can overpower Tim Sherwood’s side.
