The Yohan Cabaye Newcastle United importance was underlined yet again with another great performance with a goal on top.

The French midfielder had missed Southampton via suspension when the team scored their FIRST Premier League goal of the season without the playmaker being on the pitch!

Today though it was back to normal service as Cabaye put on another superb display and pointed out the small pitch & stadium but big atmosphere.

Great support from the travelling 2,600 Newcastle fans today and nothing beats seeing Newcastle win away, over to Yohan;

“It is always a good feeling to be in the team and play like that.

“It’s a small pitch, small stadium but big atmosphere.

“For my goal, Moussa loves that little pass and I am always thinking about trying to be in that right position then hit the target – I just want to keep scoring!.

“We just need to think about the next game and focus on that as if we think about the end of the season – such as the Europa League or something more; it may be difficult to stay focused.

The next battle will be hard – Stoke at home. We just want to get 3 points and stay at the top of the league.”
