Newcastle Need To Rest Players v West Brom For FA Cup
The Newcastle United FA Cup record in recent times is embarrassing and with the second half of the Premier league programme beginning with Newcastle United v West Brom, I think the way forward is for Alan Pardew to rest key players.
Safety is now assured in the Premier League, I don’t believe there is any real desire or belief in qualifying for the Champions League, so why is the Premier League any kind of priority now?

Well one thing is for sure and that is there’s no way Alan Pardew will play the same eleven in both.
I dream of seeing Newcastle win the FA Cup, I don’t dream of them finishing eighth instead of ninth in the league.
If I had a belief that signings would come in January to bolster a real go at the Champions League placings then fair enough but the reality is something different.
With our Premier League place secured for next season why doesn’t Ashley have a real go at the FA Cup?
The lack of effort in the cups has been embarrassing in the Ashley era and that visit to Brighton last season was horrendous, a team put out to get beat and they succeeded!
If they’d had any shame the club would have refunded all of those fans, the hardcore, who travelled all that way to watch United play a game that the club didn’t even want to win.
Would you rather beat West Brom or Cardiff?
Come on, be honest…
