Newcastle To Give Treble Joy
Today we have one of those rare occasions, a day where all 20 premier league teams play on the same day!
I also think it’s important to be playing at home on Boxing Day as those players will have had a bit of extra time with their families and may be in a better frame of mind.
To start off I think CARDIFF CITY can give their beleaguered manager Malky Mackay some Christmas joy vs Southampton. Cardiff have beaten Man City at home and held Man United to a draw and if the passionate home crowd get behind their team I think the 11/5 could look generous odds.
Next up I’m with SPURS and new boss Tim Sherwood at home to West Brom at 8/13 which seems a very fair price to me. I don’t know what Adeybayor did to upset AVB but Tim has got him back on track and firing. I think this played a part in Levy’s decision to appoint Sherwood as he’ll be hoping he doesn’t have to dip into his war chest again for a new striker in January.
Finally, I’m with NEWCASTLE at 4/5 who have been flying of late. Stoke have been better of late too but a Boxing Day crowd at SJP will be in for a treat I feel.
The treble pays over 8/1.
