David Moyes Says No Contact From Newcastle On Transfer

David Moyes has confirmed that he hasn’t heard a single word from Newcastle regarding a Wilfried Zaha loan deal.

In fact, when talking to the Manchester United official website, Moyes revealed that up to now he has not been contacted by any club interested in taking the ex-Crystal Palace winger on loan this January.

Over the last couple of months Newcastle United have been repeatedly linked to the players with claims of talks already having taken place but this is what David Moyes had to say when asked about a prospective January loan arrangement;

“I did say to Wilf (Zaha) that if I didn’t feel he was getting enough games then I would consider it.

“Obviously if we have got injuries or other reasons then I would not take it on board, but the truth is, we have not had anybody phoning up and wanting to that at the moment.”

You can never say never but as we reported yesterday [intlink id=”37444″ type=”post”]{{empty}}[/intlink]HERE, it is very hard to see how currently a deal would have been attractive to either club.

Manchester United would undoubtedly want guaranteed games for Zaha while Newcastle have Gouffran and SIssoko playing well and Ben Arfa waiting in the wings.
