The Newcastle Team Fans Chose To Face West Brom

Earlier we asked you to pick the eleven players you would choose in the Newcastle team to face West Brom this afternoon.

As well as publishing the results of who you think should play against the Baggies, we have also put in brackets what percentage of votes each player got before the Tottenham match – a lot can change over a couple of games..

Plenty of talking points but here are a few we have picked out from your choices for the Newcastle team today;

If you had any doubt about the strength of support for a Debuchy recall then a 100% approval answers that.

The other players in the top nine ratings appear to also pick themselves with Krul, Cabaye, Remy, Tiote, Gouffran, Santon, Sissoko and Williamson all looking certs to start.

Coming to the more contentious decisions, Mapou (73%) appears to carry the fan vote ahead of Coloccini (41%) today but will Alan Pardew agree?

Elsewhere, Shola might not be scoring goals but supporters are valuing his contribution with 64% picking him to retain his place. If he is replaced then Ben Arfa (27%) is getting the nod ahead of Cisse (17%).

As for poor old Jonas…

100% Debuchy (100%)
100% Krul (99%)
100% Cabaye (99%)
 99% Remy (99%)

 99% Tiote (90%)
 96% Gouffran (90%)
 90% Santon (89%)
 89% Sissoko (85%)
 87% Williamson (79%)
 73% Mapou (71%)
 64% Shola (14%)
 41% Coloccini (46%)

 27% Ben Arfa (47%)

 17% Cisse (16%)
  9% Anita (57%)

6% Haidara (10%)
  0% Marveaux (3%)
  0% Dummett (3%)
0% Sammy Ameobi (2%)

  0% Obertan (0%)

  0% Elliot (0%)
0% Jonas (Not available for Spurs due to personal reasons)

Betting – NUFC to win by exactly 2 goals 11/2 – Remy first goal AND NUFC win 40/1 – Cabaye score a goal 19/5
