Pardew Backs Cisse Goal Run To Start
The Newcastle manager has backed his number nine to hit form and the back of the net, but as for when the Cisse goal flow will start again, Alan Pardew wasn’t going that far.
Obviously part of the equation is in Pardew’s hands because obviously unless the Sengal striker is on the pitch, there isn’t much he can do about the situation.
In the lead up to our match with West Brom, Alan Pardew had this to say about the Cisse goal drought;
“If anybody thinks Papiss is never going to score again then you are wildly mistaken.
This guy will go on a run and when he does, hopefully Remy will still be and we will have two of them.”
In an ideal world the Newcastle manager must be looking to bring Cisse in while Remy is still banging them in. Newcastle are so reliant on Remy’s goals and somebody has to step up and help take the strain.
It wouldn’t be a great situation if either through loss of form or injury the Newcastle manager felt he had to push Cisse back into action, far better to try and get him back in when the team is getting results and playing with confidence.
