Newcastle United Reported Most Likely Destination For Demba Ba
Earlier this week we reported on an article which appeared on Mike Ashley’s Sports Direct News website.
The piece spoke of [intlink id=”35742″ type=”post”]Yohan Cabaye potentially leaving[/intlink] Newcastle in January and seemed to be little more than putting the French midfielder in the shop window on behalf of the Newcastle owner.
‘Despite all his wishes to make a place for himself in Jose Mourinho’s blue vision not to mention his goal against Schalke 04, Demba Ba is on his way come January. He will be probably part of a vicious, spinning triangle involving three Chelsea strikers.
Newcastle United is the most likely destination for the centre forward who made a name for himself in the north east after a move to Stoke City broke down on medical grounds and he started banging in the goals at West Ham.
In the black and white stripes Ba ended his first season as top scorer, 2011/12, and continued his scoring early the following season which encouraged Chelsea to trigger a £7m release clause and took him to Stamford Bridge. But the return of the Special One scribbled the writing on the wall for the Senegalese international’
Sadly, I can’t see any way that we will see Demba Ba again but I think we could face a nervy January when it comes to Yohan Cabaye.
