Newcastle Looking To Continue On Loan Route
With January drawing ever closer, the list of ‘likely’ signings for Newcastle is growing by the day.
While Alan Pardew has talked of pursuing more home grown players in the transfer market, the idea of Newcastle buying ready made Premier League players with the English/British premium on their price seems a little unlikely.
The player continually put into the frame is Wilfried Zaha and now it has been reported by various media that Alan Pardew has asked David Moyes about the player’s availability on loan in January.
While other clubs such as Stoke and West Brom are credited with interest, Everton are said to be interested in a permanent deal.
Despite Zaha not playing a single minute in the Premier League this season, Moyes is said to still have faith long-term but sees clear value in letting him go out on loan to get ‘proper’ games.
In recent days Zaha even played for their under 21 team such are the limited option for giving him game time.
If he were to come on loan then it would seem obvious that Alan Pardew would have to commit to giving Zaha game time.
