Mike Ashley Newcastle ‘Exclusive’ Sees SD News Hit New Low

In recent times we have seen a series of appalling ‘exclusives’  as Mike Ashley Newcastle headlines have been generated by the appalling news service he oversees.

The S***** D***** News service has carried an ever growing series of articles termed ‘exclusives’ which speculate that any number of Newcastle players are going to leave. Off the top of my head I know Cabaye, Cisse, Santon and Krul amongst others, have all seemingly been given the shop window treatment by the Ashley organisation.

This time though they have cobbled together an ‘exclusive’ that is shoddy by even their standards.

It reads;

‘Premier League sides Liverpool and Tottenham could be set to join the growing interest in Yohan Cabaye.

While Arsenal seem set on making a renewed bid in the summer, as revealed by S***** D***** News today (26 Nov) it now appears that the Gunners are not the only English side who are looking at the unsettled star.

The 27 year old is expected to move away from the Magpies at the end of the season, by telling The Sun; I’ll finish this season with Newcastle and concentrate on the coming months and then we’ll see.”

A strong motivation for Cabaye to leave Alan Pardew’s side is his desire to play Champions League football next season which, S***** D***** News understands, has alerted the likes of Liverpool and Spurs who are looking to make a breakthrough and finish in the top four this term.

Andre Villas-Boas and Brendan Rodgers believe such a box to box player could strengthen their sides and either team would be attractive to Cabaye should they finish in a Champions League place.’

Where do you start??!!!

To begin with, Cabaye did not ‘tell The Sun’, the ‘quote’ they reproduced is The Sun repeating the mis-quotes that circulated everywhere from an interview with French radio’s RTL and from which our translator Pierre earlier today took down the correct text and meaning by listening to the original French radio interview and which you can [intlink id=”36499″ type=”post”]READ HERE[/intlink].

As for Cabaye’s actions alerting Spurs and Liverpool it is of course absolute rubbish, the only ones driving interest is Ashley’s SD News service.

Maybe the biggest irony is that journalists employed by Ashley are putting together such rubbish to potentially unsettle Yohan Cabaye, at the very time Newcastle have put results together on the pitch and are currently AHEAD of Spurs and could go just a point behind current second placed Liverpool at the weekend if results fall the right way.

I’m not counting on Newcastle United finishing anywhere this season but why on earth the owner of Newcastle United oversees this appalling excuse for journalism is anybody’s guess…
