French And Italian Media Disagree Over Cabaye’s January Move
As we know, not everything you read in the press is necessarily true.
This is summed up in the modern day by the fact that you have bizarrely the French and Italian media arguing the toss over where a Newcastle midfielder will end up, if anywhere, in January.
In the meantime, Yohan Cabaye faces an important date on Tuesday when his national team look to overturn a two goal lead that Ukraine hold from Friday’s first leg.
Whatever Cabaye’s World Cup future, French publication L’Equipe are adamant that the Newcastle midfielder will end up at Liverpool in January.
On the other hand, Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport insist that Cabaye is heading to Roma and a reunion with Rudi Garcia, the ex-boss of Lille who led them to their domestic league and cup double with Yohan a key component of that team.
Ironically, the better Cabaye’s form in the next two months the greater will be the speculation that he will leave Newcastle sooner rather than later, a belief Cabaye massively fuelled himself with his comments and actions in the summer.
