Rugby World Cup At NUFC – Europa League Final Next?
The dates have been announced today when you will be able to see men with odd shaped balls appearing at St.James’ Park as part of the Rugby World Cup 2015.
Hosting such an event is obviously a feather in the cap for the prestige of both Newcastle United and the City itself, with more importantly the shot in the arm it will give to the local economy and the extra exposure of our great region to a worldwide audience.
The 3 games announced today will take place in the autumn of 2015 and details are as follows;
3 Oct 2015 South Africa v Scotland
9 Oct 2015 New Zealand v Tonga
10 Oct 2015 Samoa v Scotland
Tickets are priced from £50 (£15 for kids) up to £175, for further info click HERE
Whilst the Rugby World Cup might not float everybody’s boat, it is great to see club and city hosting prestigious events and personally I’d love to see a lot more of this, after all many smaller clubs/stadiums have hosted the UEFA Cup final, why not Newcastle United & St.James’ Park.
