Alan Pardew Stirs Ashley Row Even After Chelsea Win

When it comes to matches, all Newcastle fans want to see Newcastle win, simple as.

However, many of us are unhappy with the way the club is being run by Mike Ashley.

Alan Pardew is there to manage the team and try to get it to win matches.

However, even after today’s great win against Chelsea, the Newcastle manager has to stir it up when it comes to the conflict between club owner, fans and local press.

We’ve got great spirit in the group and I think we have played well.

We are together and this win is for Mike Ashley and all of our fans, trust me, he is a fan.

We have had to make a stand for the local press, we want them to be with us. I am pleased for everybody associated with Newcastle.

In the last few games we have been playing well and we proved that today.

We are nicely poised to perhaps attack the top and that is what we want to try and do”

Why couldn’t Pardew just say great result and let’s build from there?

Newcastle were terrible against Sunderland who are clearly the worst team in the division, they played ok against Manchester City’s second team on Wednesday but never looked like scoring, then today we hardly got out of our own half until the last half hour when substitutions were made and we started to play, then never looked back.

A march was held before the Liverpool match where around 500 Newcastle fans protested at the running of the club and the local press simply reported on that. The actions of neither press nor fans justified the response of Mike Ashley, or Alan Pardew.

Win, lose or draw the fans have supported the team right through Ashley’s reign. Newcastle have been terrible this season in the league against Manchester City, West Ham, Sunderland, Hull and Everton, why can’t we just be allowed to celebrate one of our better days paying our money to watch the team?
