Sunderland Struggle To Sell Tickets For Newcastle Match

Not for the first time Newcastle fans are to be treated to the sight of empty pink seats at the Stadium of Light.

While Newcastle could have sold their allocation many times over, Sunderland are struggling to sell tickets to their own fans.

A new manager normally sparks a show of support from the fans but apparently not in this case, even if it is for their biggest match of the season.

Maybe they need Niall Quinn to do another tour of the bars around the ground and try to push them into the ground instead of watching on TV.

The mackem ticket office will be selling tickets right up to the 1.30pm kick-off but unfortunately any Newcastle fans hoping to take advantage will only be able to do so if they are a member at Sunderland and have a purchasing history…which I would assume is none of you.

It can only be good news that as Sunderland try to kick our players off the pitch as usual, it will be rows of empty seats cheering them on.
