Reports Of Supermac Demise Greatly Exaggerated

Supermac was one of the most iconic Newcastle United centre-forwards of the modern era.

In more recent years he has carved out another niche as one of the ‘Three Legends’.

It is fair to say that the show is a bit ‘Marmite’ – you either love it or…you don’t.

Earlier this week we brought you the news that Star Radio had been forced to pull the plug on the show due to a lack of revenue.

They had broadcast the show after Real Radio dropped the trio after some 12 years of broadcasting.

Now however, there has been an announcement that the show has once again been saved.

Middlesbrough based Community Voice FM will now be broadcasting the show, featuring Supermac, Bernie Slaven and Richard Ord.

It will be on air every weeknight 6pm-8pm from Monday 21st October.

The show wil go out via various community stations and the calls will be taken on 01642 688104.

You can tune in via CVFM on 104.5FM, KOAST Radio (koastradio.co.uk) or bernieslaven.co.uk
