Newcastle United – Rotten To The Core

I have always tried to support Alan Pardew but yesterday he got it so wrong that maybe it’s time for him to go.

As the second longest serving manager in the premier league, he has had enough time to get it right.

Of course the rot does not stop with him, throw in Ashley and Kinnear and we are rotten to the core.

Going back to yesterday, then compare each team’s first 11s , how many Sunderland players would get into our team, our players are streets ahead skill-wise.

Then you look at how they performed, in my eyes Pardew and his methods have destroyed and stifled the talent out of each player.

Last season we saw the arrival of a new hero, a footballer with power, skill and aggression, saw him score twice and run the legs off Ashley Cole, this player is simply a shadow of that powerhouse. Why?

Cisse, what has he done to him?

HBA, our French maverick. Who started the season so well, now playing up front with his back to goal, we had the greatest ever player in Peter Beardsley who played just behind a front two, surely as a member of Pardew’s coaching staff he should be telling him that is where HBA needs to be playing

Marveaux, a player similar to HBA, where is he now, sure he has underperformed but surely a better option than some, where is he?

Square pegs in round holes? Maybe our manager is now indeed a square peg.

However, in dismissing Pardew, it thus creates a further problem, for as long as the bigger problem stays in place ( Ashley and Kinnear), then just who the f*** could we get in who has any decent stock?

I hate to say it but Sunderland may have got the right man in Poyet, early days I know but so far it is Poyet 3 Pardew 0.

So crack to the question, just who would come and work for Ashley now, one obvious name springs to mind……..God help us!

I am normally the most eternal of eternal optimists, but right now my glass has a hole the size of a tennis ball in the bottom!

Roll on Wednesday, oh look it’s only Man City, oh never mind we can always come back at the weekend for more fun and laughter!

Anybody know any rich Arabs?
