It has been reported that Newcastle United are one of at least five clubs who have declared an interest in taking Manchester United Wilfried Zaha on loan in January.

Since the Wembley Community Shield match before the start of the season, Zaha hasn’t even managed to get onto the pitch for the first team as a substitute.

As well as Newcastle, it is claimed that Stoke, West Brom, Palace and Swansea have also enquired about the winger.

However, according to goal.com, their information is that Zaha and his representatives have made it clear that Newcastle United are his first choice.

Joining Man United in January gone, the player was instantly loaned back to Crystal Palace and was a major factor in helping them achieve promotion to the Premier League against the odds.

The deal is said to be worth up to £17m but Manchester United are only interested in loaning him out and not selling.
