Keep On Marching

After personally being lied to by the club (about the advertising boards) you honestly won’t see me around this club till he’s gone I’m afraid. I never wanted to become an armchair fan and it does hurt me greatly but it’s the way I feel.

The last one I wrote was misinterpreted by some as having a go at the time 4 change march. I’m sorry if that is how it came across, it wasn’t meant that way and I genuinely wish you all the luck in the world but he won’t leave because of a march. That was proved by 500 marching and 50,000 in the stadium for kick off. The numbers need to be the other way round to get his attention.

Although I do have two points about the march:-

1. If you are marching for Ashley out and you hate him, why honestly did you do it in the new Wonga home shirt.

2. To the lady or gentleman that made a sign saying ‘Pardew’s a patsy’, in one photo in a regional newspaper another banner covered a bit of it and I genuinely thought it said ‘Pardew’s a pasty’ and I cried a little tear of laughter thinking someone wants to insult him in a nice way.

It’s a week on and no one has spoken of it again, there’s no other march planned and that’s where I think the problem is. Keep it going and not just a one-off, it may snowball.

Great performance by the players mind, a full 90 minute one against a Liverpool team with a skip in its step recently.

Play like that on Sunday, and Sunderland play like they have all season, and we may have another 5-1 on our hands.
