Sacking Would Be A Release For Pardew
Well, we managed not to lose anyone, apart from Perch who, considering who we didn’t sign, would have been useful once those inevitable injuries start kicking in.
The thing is, I reckon the talent in our squad will now look at our broken promises and evident lack of ambition and be thinking;
‘This place is going nowhere and while I like the stadium, the facilities, the gaffer, the fans and their adoration I’ve got to go because in a few years it’ll be a lot harder to move for the money I want’.
Now that might sound mercenary buts it’s not, it is common sense and professional survival.
So no, I wouldn’t blame the Ben Arfas, Coloccinis, Cisses and Cabayes if they handed in a request come December because I would, they’d not be short of takers that’s for sure.
And on people leaving, if Pardew was to be sacked he’d almost certainly see it as a release, getting the cash and a better job with a better hierarchy, elsewhere, in an instant.
