Only Hours Left To Bid On Classic NUFC v Villa Auctions Including 1924 FA Cup Final Item

Only hours remain to get hold of some very collectable NUFC memorabilia with links to Aston Villa.

Maybe the most interesting item is a cigarette card celebrating Newcastle United’s 1924 FA Cup Win over Villa, the card produced in 1937 to commemorate United’s 2-0 win.

This time we were looking at various angles that tie NUFC together with Aston Villa and we have them featuring in the latest Mag Auctions of classic Newcastle United memorabilia.

A batch of NUFC collectables made available on eBay with prices starting from as low as 99p.

Ever since Newcastle stormed to third in the Premier League in our debut season, there has been an edge between the two sets of fans. Villa’s seemed to take exception to Newcastle displacing them as one of the elite group of clubs at the top and those in black & white happy to pay back the compliment.

Things reached a head when Villa fans celebrated Newcastle’s relegation in 2009 and it was almost instant payback time just over a year later when United took them apart, scoring six without reply.

As well as the edge that exists, the two clubs have shared some excellent players over the years; such as Nobby Solano and Steve Watson who feature in the latest Mag Actions.

Villa Park was also the destination when Charlie Insomnia jumped ship, plus Shay Given and David Ginola turned out for the Villains in their latter days, though I think Newcastle got slightly the better out of them!

With a deep love of United’s history and the classic memorabilia and programmes that are a big part of that, we have always intended to bring you our very own auctions.Delving into Newcastle’s extraordinary history, each week we will be putting a number of items up for auction via eBbay, with prices starting from as a little as 99p.

Not everybody will want to bid on the items but we are sure that the range of items will provoke interest and debate, plus the memories flooding back.

It costs nothing to look and with the auctions lasting for a week you have plenty of time to keep an eye and bid at any time over the 7 days, potentially picking up a real bargain.

Every week a selection including programmes, magazines, tickets, trading cards and clothing CLICK HERE to visit.
