Newcastle United – Vive La Revolution?

Another miserable day of being a toon supporter and its raining as well!!!

Having spent all day reading newspaper articles and forums about the revolution to get rid of Ashley, I 100% agree that avoiding putting money in his pocket is the only way forward.

Vive La Revolution?

However, against Leeds is not the answer. Yes I understand that everyone who goes to the Leeds game will be paying as season tickets don’t count for cup games, so it is the biggest hit he will take financially. But it’s not the right game for me. It takes just one giant killing to distract from our protest and they ALWAYS happen in the cup.

Secondly, the game isn’t on TV so it will only be newspapers giving their spin on things and let’s be honest, newspapers aren’t exactly our best friends are they (not even the local ones nowadays)

The game to protest is the Liverpool one for a huge list of reasons:-

1.            BT sport is new and they will lap up the publicity from this and have cameras everywhere and talk about it for weeks.

2.            No ‘cup upsets’ to distract from it

3.            Premier League is watched worldwide so might flush out any new potential owners

4.            What can’t speak can’t lie in terms of cameras instead of just papers.

The list goes on and on but it has to be this game. I would suggest also everyone, and I mean everyone, taking some sort of bed sheet and throwing them over the sports direct banners. Sure they can take one or two off us but can they really take every single one????

Even throw in a bit of famous north east humour for the world to see by dressing up as the French and going on strike (stereotypical I know).

Now we have started to rock the boat lets tip it over but please everyone do it peacefully as we will play right into his hands if anything gets too out of hands!!!

Good luck and VIVE LA REVOLTION!!!
