Newcastle United Claim To Have The Biggest One In Europe

The Premier League have released a set of numbers for last season with information collated from every Premier League club.

The latest information relates to how many season tickets were sold for the 2012/13 season, with a breakdown into Adult and Junior totals.

Last season set a new record with an overall total of 476,776 season tickets sold across the 20 clubs, this total beating the previous record of 476,267 set in 2007/08.

While that overall total is 7% higher than the figure for 2004/05, when figures were first recorded, the Premier League are claiming a major step forward with the total of Junior season tickets going up by 26% last season, compared to the total eight years ago.

A total of 58,546 Junior season tickets were sold last season across the Premier League.

Within the published information by the Premier League, Newcastle United have claimed to now have the largest family enclosure in Europe with almost 8,200 places for 2013/14, with a combined adult and child season ticket costing £483.
