Is It 6 Points And The Protests Are Off?
I’ve spent 3-4 days basking in the glory of us being in the top 8.
I mean if Liverpool are celebrating that they are top after 4 games why can’t we with our position. Add of course to that, you have to scroll all the way down the league to see the mackems, football has me in a good mood again FINALLY.
The problem is though now, all the anti-Ashley protest talk that was on here every 30 minutes has now stopped. There is no talk of it on social media or in the actual media. Whereas things got so bad at one point the Chronicle wrote a good article about it!!!!
Has it all stopped just because of 6 points? I went to have a look on the website about the amount of tickets available for the Leeds united game, the one we are meant to be boycotting, and lo and behold it’s selling rather quickly.
I’m by no means saying we should start flipping cars over but if 6 points is all it takes to appease the crowd, no wonder Ashley doesn’t act. Why spend any money when people’s feelings will change in 2 weeks any way, that would be my thought if I was him.
Do we just wait till we lose a couple of games on the bounce and then start the process again, that might be too little too late; who knows for certain with this club.
A few bed sheets with a picture of a clown on it is going to lose no one any sleep except the poor wife who will have to wash it that evening.
So is the protest off?
Is Ashley to be left alone until things start going wrong again?
Or are we actually going to go through with something we said we would?
