Ashley’s Long-Term Plan To Come To Fruition In Two Years Time

Well that’s another transfer window coming to a close with Mr Ashley sitting happily counting his pile of TV money.

While the likes of Southampton, Norwich and Swansea have invested heavily to progress and establish themselves in the premier league, we have to settle for a loan player who initially snubbed us for the mighty Queens Park Rangers!

Mike Ashley and his sidekick see us as nothing more than 52,000 mugs and they will already have the speech prepared for their puppet Pardew to spew out at the next press conference, “Cabaye staying is like a new signing for us,” and, “we did all our summer buying in January and I am happy with the squad I have”.

Looking into this more deeply though, I think Ashley definitely has a long-term plan and in 2 years time his plans will come to fruition and everyone will finally see what his strategy has been with European football virtually guaranteed every year and worldwide revenue in team shirts doubling overnight – before you think I am crazy please hear me out.

It is well documented that Mike Ashley is a ruthless businessman and the word ‘caring’ isn’t in his vocabulary, everything he does is about making as much money as possible and anything that gets in his way quickly turns into a vendetta, just ask Dave Whelan.

Unfortunately, it is now Newcastle United and the fans that are in his way, things have not worked out and the fans are too demanding in an extremely competitive league where the top 4 get stronger every year and the likelihood of Newcastle challenging for the big money Champions League spot is now a distant memory.

Ashley won’t sell the club now as he won’t make the huge profit he initially anticipated, so instead he will milk every penny he can out of the club while his back-up plan is still ticking along nicely, there was a minor hiccup to this plan last season when Newcastle flirted with relegation so he had no choice but to spend a bit of the Andy Carroll profit to guarantee survival and the 70 Million pot of gold from premier TV rights. This money will no doubt vanish into Ashley’s coffers towards pay off from his “initial loan to the club”, this is the loan that actually seems to make Wonga rates look more attractive! Now that the TV money is in the coffers, time to step up his master plan

So in a few years from now Ashley leads his club into Europe but that team will not be Newcastle United, it will be Rangers.

All his focus will be on them, huge fish in a very small pool, He will need another year or two for them to get back into the SPL but once they are, it becomes a two horse race again with Europe every year guaranteed. He will still be also be guaranteed the season ticket numbers every year and an even bigger worldwide fan base for his sports merchandise.

Until that day comes it is time to have some sadistic fun at the expense of the fans that have turned on him, Joe Kinnear being the first of many things that will be implemented to depress us even more until he goes, what next a new long-term contract for Shola?
