Alan Shearer Invites You To Take A Leap Of Faith Over The Tyne
The team at the Alan Shearer Foundation are full of great ideas and the only extra ingredient they need is your help.
There are numerous ways in which you can help the great work at Alan’s Foundation but here are two of the latest to be cracking on with for now.
The Young Social Entrepreneur Competition also starts soon and this is focused on sixth form students. Each group of students are given £250 and asked to raise as much money as possible through fundraising and business ventures.
The competition runs from October – April, during this time Foundation staff regularly meet with the teams and give them tips and encouragement. The winners will be announced by Alan Shearer at an awards ceremony in the summer and further information can be seen HERE.
If you would like to get involved in either of these activities then contact Nicola Milne on 0191 228 0111 or by email – [email protected].
If you aren’t a sixth form student and/or you don’t fancy Zip Wiring across the Tyne without a parachute, then you can still do your bit by donating to Alan’s Foundation HERE – every little (and large!) helps.
