Update On Tim Krul’s Fitness For Manchester City
The leap forward two seasons ago was built on a solid defence, especially the opening months when Coiloccini, Simpson and the two Taylors played so well as a unit.
Arguably though, the biggest presence was Tim Krul, who did more than enough to then go to the World Cup with Holland.
The Dutch keeper of course injured his shoulder in that horrendous three goal defeat to Sunderland but today Krul has been updating everybody as to how his recovery from the dislocated shoulder is coming along and whether he is on course to make Man City on Monday night.
This is what he had to say to the club’s official TV channel;
“It (the injury) happened against Sunderland, I landed wrong and my shoulder popped out.
I needed surgery to tighten up the muscles and the bone, to stop it happening again.
Everything is on schedule to be fit for Manchester City.”
It will undoubtedly be a very busy 90 minutes on Monday night and I’m praying that it will be Krul beteen the sticks.
