Remy Out For At Least Another Month – No Wonder Newcastle Won This Transfer ‘Race’!

Surely to nobody’s great surprise, it has emerged that Loic Remy has arrived at Newcastle not just with a minor knock but an injury that will see him lucky to be playing for Newcastle even in a month’s time.

Fans who had any kind of expectation on Remy relieving some of the burden on Papiss Cisse in these crrucial early matches, have had their hopes (daydreams) dashed, with Alan Pardew today saying the following to the Hartlepool Mail;

“Remy is still on the road to recovery, Manchester City will come too soon and so might West Ham and Fulham.

It is becoming increasingly likely he will be unavailable – he has not kicked a ball yet and has only been running.”

It is little wonder that Newcastle managed to get this one ‘over the line’, no mention of any injury when Newcastle announced his signing.

However, that lack of relevant information to the fans has only meant it is even worse when the fans finally find out the truth and Newcastle will start the season with not one extra bit of help to last season’s squad, especially up front.

Then you get other fans asking why some of are so doom and gloom!
