Remy Gets Over The Newcastle United Line

With exactly two weeks until Newcastle kick off their league season at Manchester City, United have at last added some more likely looking goals to the squad.

Yes, the club have just officially confirmed that Loic Remy is at the second attempt a Newcastle player, at least for a year.

As with any signing, once they are in black & white we will support them all the way on the pitch.

However, there are some fans who find it hard to understand/accept why the striker chose near certain relegation in front of fifteen thousand fans, rather than choosing the club wit the 20th biggest turnover in the world and the 10th biggest support in Europe.

There didn’t seem to be an awful lot of competition for Remy’s signature considering what is a very decent record hitting the back of the net.

Rumoured eighty grand a week wages and possible rape charges making him anything but a snip.

Newcastle’s next signing, if it happens, will maybe tell us all a lot more about what our hopes and aspiration might be this season.

Until then it is welcome to our loan star, somebody who will hopefully give us instant payback for that January fiasco that could have cost United their Premiership lives.
