Moussa Sissoko Sends Message Of Support To Newcastle Strike Target

If Newcastle are to have any success in the summer transfer window then players already at St.James’ Park could be key to that.

When Newcastle brought the five players into the club in January, much was made of the fact that players such as Cabaye were already here and certainly a positive in getting them ‘over the line’, especially in the case of Debuchy.

One player who was brought through the door just after the new year was Moussa Sissoko, who started like a house on fire but whose form unsurprisingly leveled out after changing clubs and countries mid-season.

He has a great work ethic on the pitch and has shown the same off it, demanding extra sessions so he can learn the language of his new country as soon as possible.

Via his Twitter account, Moussa Sissoko has also shown his support for fellow Frenhc footballer, Bafetimbi Gomis, telling him he’d be ‘Welcome at Newcastle’.

“Big support for my brother Bafetimbi Gomis during this difficult period, hang on in there. You are welcome at Newcastle.”

On what I’ve seen of Gomis he looks a cracking player and lets hope that the intention is there from Mike Ashley to bring in at least one striker and that it is a credible one such as Gomis, then we can all join Moussa in saying ‘Welcome to Newcastle’.
