Mike Ashley Continues To Use S***** D***** Arena Instead Of St.James’ Park

Last week we ran our latest article on the fact that on a weekly basis Newcastle United are sending out an official club newsletter which has Sports Direct Arena, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE1 4ST as the club’s address at the bottom.

This is what we said then;

Sadly some fans are happy to go along with this charade surrounding the ‘iconic’ gates. Actually should they not be referred to as ‘The McKeag Gates’ as surely he should be taking the credit as he put them up?

However, the biggest irony is one that we have pointed out [intlink id=”32784″ type=”post”]week[/intlink] after [intlink id=”33006″ type=”post”]week[/intlink] recently.

On the very week the club are making a song and dance about unveiling the ‘Iconic St.James’ Park’ gates, they have yet again (as they have done every other week) sent our their weekly newsletter to thousands of fans and the address on it is;

Sports Direct Arena, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE1 4ST

I am coming to think that they really do believe that they can fool all of the fans all of the time, or probably more basically, they couldn’t give a damn.

Just to make absolutely sure that Newcastle United was aware of this ‘mistake’ we contacted club officials to point out that SD Arena is being used instead of St.James’ Park and the latest club newsletter arrived today with the address…..Sports Direct Arena, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE1 4ST.

So the only conclusion you can come to is that this crass behaviour is deliberate and not accidental, another depressing indictment on the way Newcastle United is being run.
