Get Your Weekend Off To A Flyer
My weekly tipping column got off to a flyer last weekend as we nailed a 12.5/1 treble, a £10 investment would have returned over £135 at BetVictor.
Hopefully plenty of you were on and now have a war chest to go to battle with for the rest of the season.
To get us started I’m siding with EVERTON at home to beat West Brom at 3/5. The toffees could perhaps consider themselves a bit unfortunate not to win at Norwich last Saturday in a game where they dominated possession with 67% but still didn’t come away with 3 points. Against a West Brom side without Anelka I think Roberto Martinez will make a winning start at Goodison Park.
Next up is Stoke City vs Crystal Palace and I see both these teams being in the bottom 3 come May. However Stoke were spirited if unspectacular against Liverpool last weekend and but for a late Walters penalty miss they would have escaped Anfield with a fortunate point. I think Palace are probably the worst squad in the league and with the noisy home support I expect STOKE CITY to have just enough for them at 17/20.
For the last leg I’m looking at Monday night football where I envisage a MANCHESTER UNITED VS CHELSEA DRAW. This early in the season both teams will be desperate not to lose in what I expect to be a cagey affair. Jose Mourinho has a fantastic record against Manchester United but I think the Champions will have enough to deny the Special One another victory run down the Old Trafford touchline so we take the draw at 12/5.
If we land again the treble pays just over 9/1 with BetVictor.
