Call Me Mr Negative, Go On
Call me Mr Negative, go on.
Trouble is that once the season starts it is a bit late pointing out the obvious AND definitely too late once the transfer window closes and we haven’t got signings over that line.

In the final 15 competitive matches of last season, Newcastle United scored more than one goal in only two of those games; QPR when Bosingwa gifted both and Stoke when Cisse scored with the last kick of the game.
In 6 of those 15 matches Newcastle scored once and in 7 (SEVEN) United failed to score.
So, a squad desperate for goals to be added? Agreed?
Up to now we have brought in a loan player who knocked us back to go to an already relegated club and who is currently knackered and will miss the start of the season. So we have the clothes/players we currently stand in.
Then look at the pre-season frendlies, yes they can be deceptive blah blah blah but after knocking 4 past Motherwell, apart from Shola’s goals only Debuchy and Cisse have scored against some largely pretty weak sides, five matches in total.
Yes Shola has scored four but if anybody sees him as the answer then they haven’t got a clue what the question is!
If more goals aren’t added to the squad we could well be doomed, that isn’t negativity it is reality.
