Ben Arfa Wins Understatement Of Century Award “I Was Trying Lots Of Shots”

In the last match against West Ham, Hatem Ben Arfa was having all sorts of shots, from all kinds of positions.

Today was looking a carbon copy and his shooting was looking about as accurate as it was against the Hammers.

It is a bit like schoolboy football and when he looks around like he did today, then i think Hatem doesn’t really believe in some of our players.

I do think that when the likes of Cabaye and Remy came on, Ben Arfa was more prepared to get the ball, pass and move, then get it back and use it – rather than trying to do it all himself.

We all ended up winners – just!

This is what Hatem had to say after the match;

“It was a good goal, I was trying to score all second half because we needed that win today. I was trying a lot of shots and I’m not sure but I just hit it and Is scored, so I’m very happy.

I we didn’t score today then we wouldn’t have been able to sleep tonight. We have been trying and trying, today we finally got that goal.

We are very happy, if we hadn’t won or scored today we would have had two very bad weeks.”
