The Ideal Birthday Present For Alan Pardew?
Fifty two years ago today, the 18th July 1961, in Wimbledon, London, a son was born to Mr and Mrs Pardew, they called him Alan.
So a big happy birthday to our manager, though I wouldn’t mind a penny for his thoughts as he ponders what faces him in the next ten months or so.
Alan can’t be with us today as he is over in Portugal for pre-season. However, that hasn’t stopped us in the Mag Towers Offices from coming up with a few ideas for presents to deliver to him on his return to his adopted Geordie homeland.
Here are the ideas that we’ve come up with so far, we’re sure that you can better them – feel free to add them via Twitter, Facebook, by email to [email protected] or on the comments at the end of the article.
‘A one-way ticket for Joe Kinnear back to the Orange Tree pub’
‘Know it’s a ridiculous idea but a new signing would be canny’
‘A DVD – 101 Great Goals From Corners’
‘Some tic-tacs….sorry, tactics!’
‘A trollley dash around Sports Direct or a £25 voucher, whichever is the greatest’
