Newcastle United’s Biggest Asset Aiming To Be Fit Again For Opening Match
Many players are said to be ‘vital’ to a team’s success but in Newcastle’s case there is one who stands out head and shoulders above the rest, as being vital to our chances this coming season.
An early early on hampered Tim Krul and that dislocated shoulder finished him off for the season.
“I will be fit for the first game of the season and will try to get a couple of friendly games to get myself fully up to speed.
At the moment I am right on schedule.”
Having had a dislocated shoulder in the past I know how painful and awkward the injury & recovery can be, at least in my case though it gave me an excuse NOT to go in goal in our five a side kickabouts, once I returned to ‘fitness’.
In Tim’s case it must be one of the most dodgy injuries for a keeper to get and hopefully it won’t ‘pop back out’ like mine did, as least season we almost ‘popped out’ of the league – at least in part due to Krul missing a significant number of matches.
