Crisis? – All Newcastle United Need To Do Is Start Winning…
Yes, it is a reality check.
Reality is we won’t be finishing 5th this coming season as a result of good scouting and coaching – without the wonder goals and lack of injuries of two seasons ago, last season showed we are just another club in the Premiership group of also-rans to the big boys.
Other clubs are signing bargains – the likes of Benteke, Fellaini, Michu etc, and will no doubt find more this season.

We have no ambition as the owner has none. Nor will he sell at a loss now his ego and SD business are so entwined with the NUFC brand.
So what is there to motivate the players and coaching staff?
Ah yes, the big stadium and legendary support. Hang on though, this supporter loyalty has been tested severely in the past 12 months, so if the fans aren’t feeling passionate what is there for players to see as attractive here?
On Mick Quinn’s debut, there was a boycott as many will recall, but after the win over Leeds, Quinn made a valid point that although the club was beset by supporter discontent, wins change things in football.
Somehow this club needs to start winning, if not at Man City then pretty soon after, if not it may not be the end of the road, but it may well be downhill fast….
